Hi everyone, I am Jennifer and I am based just outside Oxford in the UK.

I am originally from Canada (Ottawa) but I moved to the UK about 12 years ago to study Education and International Development (focusing on gender) before moving into the aid sector and eventually working as a gender advisor. During the pandemic, I have birth to a young boy and looked for a role that involved less travel, and I am now acting as a Gender Advisor for the University of Oxford, supporting it with the gender equality charter,

I am a warm and open person, and I really believe in collaborative working. I am currently focusing a lot on feminist leadership as I see so much poor leadership around me that tends to mirror very traditionally male stereotypes.
